I read a really good piece on Bitcoinist .com this morning where the author is answering questions to an article he read written by a Bitcoin naysayer. The original text tried to destroy bitcoin in what can only be described as an article full of FUD, if you read the answers in the article that answers these points.

After reading this article, I thought, yes I can agree with this, Bitcoin is only getting started. I support the infrastucture and technology behind the currency, I also believe that it can give people that have been previously denied the right to manage their own funds by mainstream banks, the opportunity to get investments going. You really only need a smart phone and a cryptocurrency wallet to open your own "bank account" yes you need to be able to convert the electronic currency into FIAT if there are not enough retailers and suppliers accepting bitcoin for their services, but that is also possible.
If the believers in bitcoin actually believed in the freedom it gives, and then leveraged that, then the price of bitcoin will skyrocket, could you imagine 20 Billion people investing in Bitcoin? To think that only 21 million Bitcoin will ever be created, and each bitcoin has 100 000 000 fractions, there is more then enough to go round. Added to that Bitcoin Cash and a couple of other coins, which can quite easily be converted between coins on some exchanges, the rewards to miners are phonominal.
In this technological age where everyone and their uncle are online through social media, why cant we do our own banking online too. Even Facebook is thinking of buying a cryptocurrency exchange, this has provoked arguments for and against, but is it such a bad thing? If Facebook, created their own coin, it would almost instantly be worth something because of the user numbers of Facebook.
