What powerful words!! If you read them slowly and understand them they are awesome.
The first bit of the quote “We are not born to win or lose” is so true.
When we are born we are free of all guilt, conscience and when ready are free to choose our way in life. We get guided and taught by various people in our lives, first our parents, grandparents, teachers, preachers and friends, all have a guiding hand in moulding who we become in our lives.
In our informative years we learn to win and we learn to lose, some are good winners and humble losers, some are terrible losers and even worse winners, I am sure you know some people like that!!
All our influencers teach us to choose. Choose our life’s path, what we do in our informative years, what we do to cope and persevere in our first real world challenges, school and peer groups. We choose what we want to follow as a career when the time is right, and we choose our lifestyle. We choose a life partner, and we choose to have or not to have children.
But do you actually choose your financial path or do you just follow the mainstream and hope that “your boss has your best interests at heart” and that everything will be hunky dory and your salary will be enough to live off and save for your future and retirement.
So many people live this life and when crunch time comes, they regret not choosing a better way. You can choose to invest in your future or you can choose to busk it as it comes. Whichever you choose will impact on your future comfort and stress levels.
I made some wrong choices in my youth when it came to career, money and investing, and now I need to find ways to cover for that. It is not easy but if you find the right business, whether it is a mainstream bricks and mortar business or a network marketing business, you need to choose the shoe that fits. Working for a boss does not give you financial independence that you need to give 100% to your family, I know, I have been there, but having a 2nd or 3rd income goes a long way to help. The avarage millionaire has 7 income streams. You don’t have to be a waitron in a restaurant and work 18 hour days and never see your family. It can be as simple a few hours in the evening or on the week end to build a network of like-minded people to network and help build a business.
Most people think that network Marketing is getting the person above you rich but in fact, if you do not build your business no one gets rich. It is as simple as that. The network benefits you and your “team”. If you are successful your team is successful. If you don’t make money, your team doesn’t.
The choice is yours, you either choose to be financially stable or you choose to battle from pay check to pay check.
There are many markets out there, some better than others, but most have been around for years. There are some new ones, and there are some that are leveraging all the new technology that is out there today.
When you look at it, networking is a necessary evil in all walks of life, friends, colleagues, work. You either make it work for you or you see it as a scheme to deprive you of your freedoms. Today, you have a choice, you can choose to join me in mining and making money or you can choose to stay where you are and hope that things will be ok.
